Videolight will come to your facility and shoot the needed video using Mini DV, Digital 8 or another digital format, then that video will be digitized into the computer for editing. Once edited on the workstation it will be authored onto a master DVD for duplication.
How to get started:
We can price your video by the package or by the hour. With a package we will look at the info you have on your company or subject, calculate how much time it will take to script, shoot, edit, etc. and give you a written quote on the cost. If you accept then 50% will be due in order for us to start and the balance upon completion. In pricing a package a certain number of copies will be included. The advantage of this pricing option is that you know the maximum amount that it will cost.
When pricing by the hour the steps are the same except that we keep track of the number of actual hours that it takes to complete the project and you are charged an hourly rate of $75 an hour. A deposit is required to begin work on the project.
Digital Editing:
Videolight takes your video, digitizes it into the computer and edits it as needed using the workstation. If you have specific instructions for editing then you can provide an edit sheet. Rate: $75 an hour.
