Film Transfers
Do you wish you could see those old family movies but dread getting out the projector? Let us transfer them to VHS Video Tape or DVD for you. We have specially designed 8 mm, Super 8 mm, and 16 mm projectors to eliminate the “bar” and insure a good transfer. The problem in transferring movies to video is the difference in scanning rates. 8 mm is 16, Super 8 is 18, 16 mm is 24, and video is 30 frames per second, so special equipment is needed to insure top quality reproduction. In addition, we shoot directly into a digital camera, then transfer that into the computer to do gamma correction and give you a brighter and better contrasted movies. Generic music is added for your enjoyment.
Slide Transfer
Slides are transferred via a direct method then they are framed and gamma/color corrected. Detailed care is give to each slide. After transferring into the computer they are made to fade from one to another. Generic music is provided.
Photo Montage
Each photo is transferred first into Adobe Photoshop via the UMAX Astra 2100U Scanner. Next they are properly framed and centered, and the gamma and color corrections are made. All the photos are then transferred into the workstation and made to fade from one to another. As a last step generic music is added, and the montage can be dubbed to VHS or authored to a DVD.
